High Space Man is a one-person astrophotography project — every image on this site was captured, processed, and printed under the direction of a single photographer who fell in love with the night sky. The shop exists to share that view with anyone who wants a piece of space on their wall or in their closet.

Images are captured from a backyard setup using a deep-sky telescope, tracking mount, and dedicated astronomy camera. Most targets require hours of exposure time spread across multiple nights, with specialized filters to isolate the light from specific gases (hydrogen, oxygen, sulfur) emitted by each nebula.

Yes and no. The light is real — every photon in these images actually traveled from the nebula to the sensor. But much of that light is outside the visible spectrum, so false-color palettes (like the SHO “Hubble palette”) translate invisible wavelengths into colors we can see. The result reveals real structure and real chemistry, just mapped to different colors than your eye would see unaided.

Every print, shirt, sticker, and poster is made-to-order through Printful, a print-on-demand partner. Nothing is sitting in a warehouse — when you order, your item gets printed and shipped within a few business days. This keeps the shop lean and reduces waste from overproduction.

Prints and apparel use durable DTG/sublimation printing that holds up through normal wear and washing. Stickers are weatherproof and scratch-resistant. Posters use archival inks designed for long-lasting vibrancy. Follow the care instructions and your gear will age gracefully.

Shipping time depends on your location: United States 3–5 business days, Canada 5–10 business days, Europe & UK 5–8 business days, Australia & New Zealand 5–10 business days, rest of world 10–20 business days. You’ll receive a tracking link by email as soon as your order ships.

Yes, we ship worldwide. International orders may be subject to import duties or customs fees, which are the buyer’s responsibility and are not included in the listed shipping cost.

Address changes are possible before the order enters production. Email orders@highspaceman.com right away if you need to update your address — the sooner the better.

Because each piece is made to order, we only accept returns for items that arrive defective or damaged. If something isn’t right, email returns@highspaceman.com within 14 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the issue — we’ll make it right with a replacement or refund.

If your tracking shows “delivered” but nothing arrived, first check with neighbors and your local post office — most missing packages turn up within a few days. If it’s still lost, email zach@highspaceman.com within 30 days of the ship date and we’ll work with Printful to get it sorted.
